“LOVE IS THE ANSWER” TO EVERY HATEFUL ACTION

Yes, in a very dramatic and beautiful way, the hate-filled incident happened at Kildare Direct Provision Centre, ended with a letter full of love and forgiveness from Waheed, the Victim of the hate-filled Incident, to the offender.

Waheed, was told to leave his favourite sitting spot, just because of some ideological differences with the offender, whose name is not being published here on the special request of Waheed himself. Just yesterday Waheed, who went up to the Garda station to seek the redressal of injustice against him wrote a letter of forgiveness along with a “rose flower”, to the offender and posted a copy to the relevant authorities for official withdrawal of case against him with the following message,

“Being a student of sociology and literature, I believe that every human should understand the new social philosophy and would try to beat the hate with love and respect. We should not hate ‘publicly’ anyone due to any reason however it is everyone’s right to keep love and hate inside the heart. Difference of opinion does not mean hate but the beauty of the universe.

Today, I want to release the burden on my heart and sending you flowers. I wish you best of luck for your case, your life and your family. I wish you good health and smiling future.

I am sending the copy of this letter to GARDA so that they may close the case and there will be NO AFFECT on your asylum case.”

 Waheed compared the today’s emotionless life with the “Ice Age”,

“We are living in ICE AGE where emotions and feelings are also being frozen but with the warmth of love, respect and smile, the ice can be melt.”

Nothing can be resolved with hate, only love is the answer to every hateful question or action. Waheed Mohiuddin proved that he knows the answer to every hateful question and that is love. We hope that this action of Waheed can pave the way for the others who seek to resolve every difficult situation with mere hate.
