NOTICE: Access to child benefit for Irish citizen children in direct provision

NOTICE

To residents in direct provision with Irish citizen children (for example, with Zambrano applications pending):  A recent Court of Appeal judgement means that you are now eligible to apply for child benefit for your Irish citizen child while residing in direct provision.

If you would like to apply for Child Benefit, please contact your local Community Welfare Officer or your local Citizens Information Office.  You can find out more information on the Citizens Information website: http://citizensinformation.ie/en/
